Could've been one of the last produced, before lines were completely closed, I guess.

What's the trem, EdgePro or TRS? If I remember correctly, TRS was used for the 470's.

It is 2003 Japanese made RG470 with Edge Pro II and V7/S1/V8 pickups.
This was never available in Europe and USA.

I believe it has the Edge Pro (not 2)
They were available for a limited period of time in Europe, my local music shop here in Norway had a bunch of them

Thanks for the info. Neither TRS or Edge is written on the bridge. there ISn't even a liscensed by floyd rose written on the bridge...and yes, it is made in japan.

Then that's an '03 thing. No "Floyd" message means that they're not under the patent anymore.

It is probably an EPII (it looks more like an Edge than a TRS).

Thanks! you guys are really helpful. however. i don't think its an EP2, there are steel inserts in the bridge where the strings go over. i'll post a picture soon. doesn't look like anything on the ibanezrules site though, but thanks

If it is an EP, then it must be an '03 RG1570. Does it have a volute on the neck (little hump at the end of the neck), which is a sign of a prestige neck, I believe.

If the back of the headstock says 470 then it must be a swapped neck, as the 470 should be TRS2 or EP II.

As long as you're enjoying it, GREAT! Post pictures as well, so we can see what that is.
