Whats up everyone!!! Got it to work haha!!!
Hi everyone. I recently decided to float my bridge on my rg350dx after having it blocked for over a year and wanted to thank everyone here for all the great information and tremolo guides. The project had me going through hell for a week. Ripped a claw screw out and ending up having a stud post insert actually lift up out of the body. I replaced the claw screw with 12mm screws instead of the 8mm that came with the guitar and reset the stud post with some titebond 2. With everyones knowledge here, over at the ibanez forums, with the mega floating trem guide, and trem guides here i was finally able to get my edge III working flawlessly. Pull ups return to perfect pitch in tune. Dives return to perfect pitch in tune (90% of the time). I notice that if it did not return to perfect pitch that particular time than it is no more than 1/8th of a half step off and a tiny tug or push on the trem bar sets it back. This is the first time I have actually done a setup on a floating trem(failed many times this week) and I must say to all those out there having trouble just keep at it. The amount you learn and the satisfaction of being able to set something up that most ppl say to just trashcan (edgeIII) is amazing. Once again thanks for all the great advice posted within these forums.
