When Weapons and Guitars collide

I saw this ad for the local craigslist and found myself laughing... when I saw these:

For $150 each... i wouldn't mind getting one for $hit and giggles... but I remembered ESP made one for NAMM '03... it looked like this:

The "neck pickup" is a speaker for the machine gun sound effect... never seen in it action but i'm sure that's what the trigger is for!

Anyhow, thought I'd start a thread with these odd guitars

Red face Re: When Weapons and Guitars collide

i always wondered what happened to Cain Roberts's Flame Thrower Guitar!!!
He was the guy that took steroids, dressed like Rambo, and played guitar for Alice Cooper in the 80s!!!

Lol, that ESP "machine" gun is a Gundam Beam Rifle from the Mobile Suit Gundam series. I wouldn't mind having that, but only because I'm kind of a Gundam nerd.

Wouldn't mind one for a laugh. I wonder how they'd treat one of these as carry on luggage?

Re: When Weapons and Guitars collide

i remember seeing gun guitars back in the early 90's. they had a external handle on the top kinda like a monkey grip, bullet belt hanging out of the chamber and it made noise when you pulled the trigger. i also remember them being quite expensive. cant remember for the life of me who made em.

Re: When Weapons and Guitars collide

haha that's funny... the battle axe guitar was hanging next to the gundam guitar when I took those pics... to continue further with this thread... here's a better detail of that battle axe guitar:

this one looks like it came out of a Lord of the Rings battlefield...
