Do you mind importing from Japan?
If not, try ishibashi
I'm not sure they are allowed to sell brand new J customs overseas, but I'm pretty sure they can sell used J customs with no problem.
You can buy new from Rich, buy used from Rich or watch eBay. J.Customs come up periodically. These guitars weren't made in large numbers, so unless you want new, you can't just say "I have the money now, let's get one!" Get the money in hand and then start looking. Have the cash ready to go when what you want pops up.
That 8470F is pretty much a 2011 8570Z, and that 2011 8570Z is pretty much the USA only JC RG2011 Scarlet Ruby. Rich has one for sale new if you don't want to go used. I took the Blue Zircon one that Rich has, i can't wait to get it within the week coming or week after
So you're the one. I was trying to save up some money and was hoping no one would snatch it up. Hopefully they sell these next year too. I can't wait to see pics. Congrats.
They're trying to get me to do a store model, but they won't let me pick all the specs. All I've gotten them to change so far is EZ to Edge, but I want quilt and ebony too ;/
The Edge is a big win, but I'll agree that it isn't worth doing without at least ebony. Quilt would be ideal, but if you could get a green flamed guitar with ebony, I'd be all over that.
How about straight natural??? The PR-1 was such a gorgeous guitar, but with an "Ibanez Rules" update in the J-C style......I could guarantee at least one sale!!!
