Why no 100HAM series?

Did they ever make anything to celebrate Hoshino's 100th anniversary? I imagine 90HAM was a pretty succesfull series but not such a big deal in "age sense" as 100 years.

I thought 90HAM models came out in 1995...

Argh. I checked it in Untold Story and it was 1998. My mistake.

Cannot wait for the PGM100HAM model though if they ever make one

Re: Why no 100HAM series?

lemme make a little summary :
2004 special edition : RG 1550 FM , mahogany body.. nice! got one.
Rg 2550 LTD, black mate finish.. not so nice.

2005 special edition : RG 20051.. black-white swirl... just ordinary RG with custom swirl finish.. no good.

2006 special edition : RG 20061-Rg 20064...puzzle? interesting but..not my kind.

2007 .. RG 20th anny, or Rg 550 MXX... just a reissue of '87 Rg 550.

2008... something like RG 100 HAM..? yeah, let's dream what it's gonna be..

Re: Why no 100HAM series?

Well, the 90ths WERE decent, I thought. PGM90 is SWEET. Jem 90HAM - not too bad. JS90HAM - Nice enough.

Still, you'd think it's be something really special, being the 100th and all.

I made this post asking a while back and got this reply from the admin "Ibanez.com"

Quote:
Hoshino began as a sheet-music store in Nagoya, Japan in 1908. So yes, technically 2008 will be the 100th Anniversary of Hoshino as a company. However at this time, there are no plans to release a H.A.M. The Anniversary will be celebrated among the Hoshino Gakki partners.

However, if plans do change, you'll hear about it first here!

Ibanez.com
So unfortunately it looks unlikely which is a shame because if they were a patch on the 90th models they'd have been awesome.
