Will I need F Spaced/Trembucker spaced PU's for my RGA121??

I would assume I need them for the spacing on the Ibanez, but since it has no trem is this still necessary?? It has more to do with the spacing than whether or not the guitar has a trem right??

Also, will I need them for the neck AND bridge?? Thanks.

Nope
Trem spacing is the biggest scam since monster cables.

OK, well the one trem spaced pickup I need is cheaper than the regular spaced one.

My question is, will I need the trem spaced/F Spaced pickups for the pole pieces to line up correctly with the strings??

It's purely a visual difference, no sonic difference at all, but since you have a fixed bridge I would assume that a regular spaced one would be what you need. There should be something on Dimarzio or Duncans website that tells you how you can measure to figure out which one you would like better, I know I saw it somewhere, just cant remember where.

See for yourself (both are RGA):

http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...321/gtr008.jpg

the first is a Dimarzio Air Zone non F-spaced, the second is a SD JB F-spaced, I too havent heard of any differences between F-spaced and non-F-spaced.

Why is it a scam? they are exactly the same price, and it makes the guitar look better. And have you actully done tests on the same guitar with the same model of pickup and differnt spacings? nobody has any proof that it does or dosnt affect the sound. buy the F-spaced if only for looks, they are the SAME price. And since the RGA series has the same spacing as the the Edge Pro equipped RG prestige series, id definatly go for the F-spaced.

Oh and get them for both the neck and bridge.

How many different threads do you want from how many different sites that there is no sonic difference?

Also I have never seen a neck pick up offered F spaced, I'm not saying they don't make them, but I have never seen one.

Re: Will I need F Spaced/Trembucker spaced PU's for my RGA121??

they certainly make them all right:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/search.html...=dimarzio+neck

its all very well to say ''it makes no differnce'' but can you think of one example where somebody has tried them back-to-back? cause i certainly can't. they are the same price so why not play it safe? and it looks pretty unprofessional when the poles dont line up with the strings. the poles on my RG1527 dont line up at all and it looks horrible ( ibanez V7-7 and V8-7 pickups). they are even more out of place than the ones in the pic posted above and they are muddy as all hell which i would assume is mostly the shoddy pickups fault but who knows. serperation of the strings is very important on 7-strings.............
