I thought the stop tail was a nice option, the one thing I never understood is why the locking nut and fine tuners with the stop tail.

most of my guitars have trems i never use them. ppl do want stop tails and i bet it sounds different.

I've always thought... "Why not?"

I like having fine tuners to use with a blocked off trem on a guitar, and the locking nut just makes the tuning that much more stable. It's an interesting option anyway.
