Talking Wondering bout a korean RG450dxLB

hi i'm currently contemplating bout a purchase for a Old 450dx in laser blue.Condition is good as there are no dinks only light scratches..
the only cool thing i can think of is the matching headstock which i find is very uncommon these days. its really going for dirt cheap but the tremolo (which is the trs) might be a thing to consider.. Anybody who has own one or has done some really cool mods to it could leave their views here? i'm thinking of pink paf pros and volume/tone knobs....hahaha...for the 80s look..lemme know whatcha think

Well, I had one once, exact same guitar. It was my first Ibanez. Depending on what you've already owned, if it's a step up, go for it. But otherwise I'd say hold onto your cash for something that IS a step up from what you have now, whatever that may be.

well i'm owning a gibson les paul standard and a fender jap strat from 1988 at the moment..but them two arent floyd trems..so i thought i wanna get something affordable to play around with...yet the guitar should be able to take playing hard.i've contemplated on a RG550 or 570 but there arent any on 2nd hand sale right now..just this 450dx.

The 450LTD is MIJ spot production model. It's got mahogany body with transparent blue or red finnish, perloid picguard, V7&V8 pickups and the Edge Pro bridge.

Here you've got pic of RG450LTD (http://www.machinehead.co.uk/images/...450mhbf-lg.jpg), wich is much better looking than RG1550 or Rg550. Trem is Edge Pro (not the cheap Edge Pro II) and it's got mahogany body, with is a big plus (for me :-)
