Would you buy this?

http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/webshop/g...0ftb/index.htm

Its a lot cheaper than another rg8270 from ishibashi but the mismatched top color really bothers me.

Edit: This ones better but a little higher in price. http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl...-18/rg-tb.html
Even with this the top bothers me. Call me ocd if you want but it annoys me when tops aren't equally figured.

Re: Would you buy this?

i wouldn't get it, it's a j custom, it should be better than that. Why does the second one have a team j craft tag? That would confuse me and make me think prestiges are teh same thing. I know they aren't though

Re: Would you buy this?

How bout the second one? In the close up it looks fine but when you pull back the bottom seems a lot more striped than the top. Ishibashi seems to have a lot of 8270s with botched finishes. They're VV finishes are just cherry burts.

Uhm, The blue top with a green back doesn't do it for me I'm afraid. I think the whole thing looks a little bit twee.

Re: Would you buy this?

I might have to buy one of these. The exchange rates just raised the price another hundred. I'm sticking to 2k limit so a plainer, but matched top j custom is out of the question at the moment. If it comes down to it I think I'll buy the first one, except for the spot by the bridge the top is gorgeous. Would it be possible to get the color corrected eventually? And would it be worth it? If its expensive or scars my guitar I wont bother.

Re: Would you buy this?

YES! I'm saved... maybe. I was looking at J custom pics with google image search and found some sites with 8270s at closeout prices. I hope they ship to the States.

Beautiful guitar, i'd rather have a 7-string like that though.
