Post ZR Trem is being Squeaky

Okay, just a bit of a weird question here.

I got a S570B with a ZR trem and I've noticed lately that it's a bit squeaky when I use the bar. Just wondering if there was any way I can lubricate it myself I don't wanna spend any more on a new trem entirely if needed...

Re: ZR Trem is being Squeaky

Had the same problem an my Prestige 2550.

It was one of the Springs which holds the Bar for zeroing the trem.
I used Silconoil because it was Metal on Plastic friction what makes this squeky noise.

It solved the problem just fine.

The thing is I don't use the ZPS system in it if that's what you're talking about.

Re: ZR Trem is being Squeaky

Yes,the ZPS bar/stop rod is what I meant.

The bar has several contact points which have great potential for squeal.
But I see you've already removed.

A buddy of my had a noise problem with a Charvel,
after years he discoverd that one of the Trem Height Adjustment Bolts
lost the grip in the Wood of the Body and produced squeaky noises.
He filled the hole with wood glue and the noise was gone.
