2 tech type questions

Hi guys,

I've got 2 quick questions for ya:

1
Ive just bought a new lo pro edge kit. The body inserts for the trem posts - what do you guys do - just push it into the holes or should one use superglue/araldite in there just to secure it in place?

2
The holes in the rear trem cavity - are the holes for the screws for the spring claw drilled in parallel with the body or at an angle? (or does it not matter?)

Thanks

Well, providing the holes are the correct size to fit the insert, yes, you can just press them in. They have to be snug though otherwise they'll work their way out. So if they go in fairly easy, they should be glued a tad bit.

Re: 2 tech type questions

Never drilled the holes for the string claw, but the stud inserts are just pressed in. That said, I'd rather be safe than sorry so after pressing them in I'd prefer to hit it with thin super glue, which should wick right in there.

Re: 2 tech type questions

holes are probably at a slight angle. IN the mod arena, when installing the trem claw, I used a 8" long extension bit to drill the holes, and the angle was probably in the 10ish degrees range.
