I'm already working on the healing part
I cut my cast off and went to a softer brace so I could at least strum. Besides, I was worried the cast might ding up my swirl!
So, self-inflicted thread derailment aside, here are a few options I've come up with.
With JEM Conversion mods:
1. Swirl it. Either a PAW or GMC style with clear PG, etc. I'll order fresh pups to match and all that Jazz.
2. Holo-JEM. I've seen some really cool looking holo material mosaic designs on a few guitars. Mostly on this one site called Bizarre Guitars. Don't know the URL, but google it, you'll see what I'm getting at.
3. Bad Donkey?. Maybe try my luck with mirror paint and see how close I can get to a BRMR? At the very least it might make for some good comedy! Would be a lot more smoothing and fine sanding than I'm used to. Not sure how it'd go over with the shark tooth inlays either.
4. Patterned texture finish. Kind of like the patterns on top of desserts they do with chocolate sauce and a toothpick, but with 2-part epoxy instead.
Just a few ideas I've been mulling over....
