Any UK swirling vendors out there!?

Hey all

I'm looking to get a swirling paint job done for a restoration project I was thinking of taking on and was looking to see if there were any vendors in the UK who do custom swirls for guitars and I literally can't find ANYONE that is still operating. The websites I have found seem to be out of action and I've been in touch with a few who used to but now don't swirl anymore.

Are there any out there that people are aware of? Professionals ideally.

Thanks!

The only person I would trust in the world atm to swirl is Ben Eller. Pretty much everyone else is gone.

Thanks man. To google I go with that name.

I know exactly what you mean, I've found the odd hobbyist but the guitar I have that I'd like to restore is a really rare one that I wouldn't want messed up!

Ah bummer. Ben eller is based in the USA. Not really able to send this internationally if I can avoid it. Hence the need for finding a UK based vendor

I'm not aware of anyone who's still swirling over here. Al at Outofthisswirled stopped doing them. Andy Tait can swirl, but I don't know if he'd do it for someone else.

That's what I was hoping you wouldn't say Juno

I chatted to Alan at great length (getting some parts off him) and did my best to convince him to come back to swirling..... It didn't work lol

I guess there must be no profit/business in the art of swirling, I'm hoping there is someone somewhere, otherwise I'm going to have to learn how to do it myself and that could end badly 😀

I kind of miss swirling, basically ran out of paints, tried to get some more OneShot neons in the UK, no one stocked them and couldn't get them shipped, so never bothered. Not made a fluro guitar in ages!

Hey AndyT, is that still the case with Oneshot neon paints?

I'm also in the U.K and would love to get my black Universe swirled in yellow, black, pink and green (P&W style).

I don't know

I was looking up to see if I could find one-shot neons, but I could 'only' find their signwriting paints. I have no idea if they might be the right ones or not?!?

Re: Any UK swirling vendors out there!?

That's a shame, but that said, the old PMC seemed to have the 'peach' and 'purple' in non-neon type paints, so I might give that range a look see over the summer.

Hi chaps, still playing guitar all day for Andertons. After 60+ Gibsons yesterday, you kind of had enough of guitars at the end of the day! Still make a few when I fancy something new. Some recent builds
