anyone else have that problem with 2003 edge pro trems

I had it on several guitars i owned wich had the 2003 edge pro tremolo

those little silver pieces on the bridge saddles, the ones that the string rest on (dont know how you call them), always get this little groove in them ,caused by the string, and it makes the string move in and out of the grooove making "tik tik tik" noises.. its annoying as hell when doing string bending..

those bridges are the worst pieces of *** ibanez has ever made

anyway to solve this?

They don't "get" grooves in them, they were there to begin with. It's not common but they exist. Swap that saddlle with a wound string saddle.

Hmm well there is the original groove wich is fine.. I mean a groove IN the groove . the string just cuts through that piece.

And I've only had the guitar for like 3 months without much playtime

What are wound string saddles? have a picture?

And thanks for the help Rich , once again.

They're steel, they much tougher than the cast saddle [and most strings!]
