I just wanted to say that I just bought a brass block for my LO Pro and I got an awesome deal from "hockney" check the bay. Way cheaper than F>R>U> and he's a great guy.
I've yet to put it in so if anyone has experience or tips on this maneuver , please feel free-thanks-matt
Brass blocks are an amazing upgrade for the ****ty pot metal blocks that Ibamez trems come with.
I've done a write up on my blog on how to replace the block without having to take the strings off. You have to undo some of your saddles, so you'll want to measure the positions to make sure you get the intonation right, but its pretty simple.
Check it out at http://www.lonephantom.com and do a search for Floyd Upgrades or brass block, etc. Should find it easy enough.
i have seen your blog thanks. i am just trying to give a good guy a shout and possibly some more business. there is no reason for anyone to have a monopoly on that market. so if anyone is looking he has over 1,300 positive feedback responses.
Yeah, the brass blocks are very nice upgrade for any floyd... Except maybe gotoh's, since they come already with brass block.
