Re: Can the Edge Zero 2 handle 10 gauge strings ?

I have an EZ2 on my rg370dxz with 10s on it, and i just have the two big springs hooked up, no ZPS for me. It's in half step down, however it seems there's plenty of room to spin the wheel to bring it up to standard tuning equilibrium. So yes, you shouldn't have to buy new springs. Maybe if it's a 7 you might have problems but i wouldn't know.

No experience with that particular trem but I've run 10s on virtually every Ibanez I've ever played, including seven strings with extremely heavy low B strings (64 to 6, and I can do it with two springs.

That said, I don't think it's ever a bad idea to have a couple spare springs on hand.
