Can you use condensed air on the js2410 volume pot?

Seems a little scratchy at low volumes, wondering if it?s entirely enclosed or if I could aim some condensed air somewhere and clean it out? If I can?t, where do I order a replacement?

I wouldn't recommend compressed air, but you can try spraying it with a contact cleaner like DeoxIT D100. You can spray it from the top (after removing the knob) and/or from the rear cavity.

If that doesn't solve the issue, the part number is 3VR1J500AS. You can order it direct from Ibanez or from Rich at Ibanez Rules. This 500K Bournes pot should also work.

95% of the time a scratchy pot can be cleaned by just working the pot in the scratchy spot back and forth as many times an necessary until it clears. I haven't sprayed contact cleaner in a pot in years.
