Changing pickups in Ibanez RG Prestige 1570
Hello. I am thinking of changing the pickups V7, V8 and S1 in my Ibanez RG 1570. I just wanted to ask whether it is necessary that the three pickups: neck, central and bridge are f-spaced or only is f-spaced in the bridge. Thank you all.

The RG's that come with Dimarzio's are f-spaced neck and bridge. I think the V-pickups mite actually be spaced slightly closer not totally sure. Single's are spaced only one way. Cosmetically f-spaced looks correct but you can use non-f-spaced and there shouldn't be much sonic difference.

I have a 1570 also and I changed the pickups and put in an evo neck/middle and an evo 2 bridge. They're F spaced and are just right.

You need them all to be f spaced, I measured the originals on my 1570 the other day as I'm planning a dimarzio upgrade myself
