Cleaning JEM90HAM pickguard

Anyone knows how to clean pickguard on JEM 90HAM ???

It's not dirty, it's stained and dulled. Only polishing will bring it back and still won't take out some of the deep acid etching.

I know i have try it with car polisher well there was no effect...

I have try it with metal cleaner....nothing....

make a new one, buy a new one, get the original one sandblasted and perhaps powercoated.

I said "polishing", you know, 6" benchtop grinder with cotton wheels on it. One firm, one soft, tripoli and jewelers rouge

I cleaned mine with car paint renovator, brand auto glym.
the picjguar is of aluminium if I'm not mistaken, looks new, except for some stripes, which were there already.
