Cleaning Neck with strings on?

I have a new Jem 7vwh and I want to lemon oil the neck but I dont want to take all the strings off.... can I do it with them on and just make sure that I wipe them all down?

Just pop the bridge off via Rich's guide on ibanezrules.com and do it that way. Believe me, I thought the procedure would be hard but it's simple as pie.

God I am such a Chicken.. Am I reading that right where you tune up to pitch lock the nut and then remove the Trem? wont the Strings rip it out?

Strings can take a lot more damage than you would think...you'll be fine man!

Rich did it on a DNA, I'm sure you can manage a 7VWH

The other solution for the meek (like me) is to do it at string change time. Take off two strings at a time, do whatever you're going to do to 33% of the fretboard, replace with new strings, and repeat for the next 2 pairs of strings. No drama at all. Now to work up enough nerve to... gulp... do it Rich's way

I as thinking about doing like this tho one string at a time LOL LOL
I just need to get comfortable with the guitar.... I guess If I can tear a Computer apart and rebuild them I should be able to do this....

Doesnt seem like that big of a deal to do it, i've done that on several guitars. its so much easier. But i've never done it on one with a spring lock though.
