Dimarzio custom taper pots

Can anyone tell me if these pots are easy to turn / have a low turning friction? I put a set of CTS pots in and the volume is difficult to swell quickly with my pinky. Most of the CTS pots I've used feel kind of gummy. Are the Dimarzio any slicker feeling?

I know the new EVH pots are supposed to be "low friction" but I can't find them for sale anywhere.

I've got a full set of Dimarzio pots in my Strat and they do turn easy.

I have a Dimarzio and CTS pot here in hand to compare. I see what you mean by the CTS feeling gummy. The Dimarzio has a slightly different feel, like you can feel the wiper scraping the track. The CTS is a little smoother feeling and MAYBE a tiny bit stiffer. Honestly I don't think there is enough difference between the two to justify replacing the CTS based on turning friction though.

DiMarzio pots are not low friction, usually. i replace a lot of pots with CTS and (CTS-made) DiMarzios, and never found one being low-friction, they're always gummy. Alpha pots or those made in Japan are very low-friction, if you need one.
