Re: Dirty Fretboard - need advice

Done some research.....don't use anything that will stain ( ie yellow coloured lemon oil ) a non laquered neck. I found some stuff at Home Depot ( ya I know too easy ) called Trade Secret furniture polish and cleaner. Its a white liquid in a small 8 oz burgundy coloured spray bottle. Use a cloth and soft toothbrush. It took me no more than 10 minutes to get the fretboard looking new and I didnt have to use 0000 steel wool ( thankfully as it wasnt an experiment I was comfortable trying )
I joined this forum to get the info out as the current info on the web and people in the guitar shops didnt have any solid advice . I did write one a few minutes ago but not sure if it posted. Anyway try it out and post your results. I was blown away how well this stuff worked.
