Disinfecting A Jem

I have a really nasty parasite and I think I may have some microscopic germs on my guitar. I probably picked them up while i was at berklee over the summer. Are there any disinfectants that I can safely use on my fretboard, back of neck, body, etc? I was thinking about using amonia wipes or something of that nature. If someone knows exactly what I can use on it that would be awsome.

When I buy a used guitar ,I use rubbing alcohol to clean it.Doesn,t hurt anything, except germs.Though you may have to oil the fretboard occassionally.Naptha(lighter fluid) works a little better for those really stubborn little critters.Legend has it that hendrix was really just trying to kill the koodies on his strat but got too close with the lighter.
