... I've had springs fly off, using Orig. Floyd Rose (so I'm sure it would happen to me with an Edge/LoPro with no block-lock) I came up with my own method to keep this from happening (posted on old forum, I think) - but prefer the Ibanez block-lock solution.
I would never use an Edge/LoPro without... unless it was older and not tapped for the screws; then I'd use my ol' Floyd Rose method.

Ive had em fly out enough that it was a MAJOR pain in the bum. I saw it strip the block on an original floyd after popping out so much that the inertia block had to be removed and turned completely around. But Ive never seen an edge trem do it *because it has the bar * lol

Thanks for your help!! Umm... But I just tried another set of springs, now it's working fine, still with only 3 installed .. Oh, and I won't be using the spring lock bar anyway, cause the trem then wouldn't quite fit into my S guitar
