Edge III trem arm too tight!!

Ive done loads of research and everyone has fix its for it being too loose. My problem is that I can't get the arm to "snap in." The 2nd bushing doesnt even go into the hole. I know about the grub screw under the trem collar and have loosened it to the point its about to fall out, and I can't get the arm in any farther than before. Im pressing down pretty dern hard too, a lot harder than I think people on the net say you should lol.

Also I have adjusted the height of the socket, with the nut underneath the bridge.

Re: Edge III trem arm too tight!!

The Edge3 bar has no bushings on it. You have the wrong bar.

It was Ibanez brand, and the only one on guitar centers website.

Re: Edge III trem arm too tight!!

Indeed. Even though a search on google has tons of people talking about using them, and seeing them sold for edge IIIs shows that style more than any other. I looked at the Ibanez online manual and the diagram had no bushings... Thanks for the simple fix.
