edge / lopro routing

I'm going to get Warmoth to make me bits for a guitar, and I want to use an edge or lo-pro edge vibrato for the bridge.

Warmoth offer two "floyd rose" style routings - "Recessed Floyd Rose Original tremolo" and "Recessed Schaller Floyd Rose tremolo" - does anyone know which is suitable for an edge / lopro edge?

TIA !

Neither are suitable for the edge or lopro. You have to get a schematic of the bridge and have them do a custom rout.

Warmoth probably won't rout for the Edge unless you can send them a template, a set of jigs and a bag-o-cash.

That guy has a guitar in the Warmoth gallery and has a lo pro in it. You can email him and ask him the price and about the template thing.

Hi all,

Thanks for your replies. I think I'm going to have to get the body routed here in England once it arrives.

Warmoth are just a wee bit complacent about meeting customer needs, it seems to me...

Warmoth is very traditional with there work. All there bodies have fender compliant neck pockets and they only rout for certain bridges. It is very hard to make a good, custom rg if you order from warmoth.
