EDGE PRO PROBLEM! PLEASE HELP!

Hey...please be patient with me because I a n00b in the Edge Pro department.

Whenever I unlock the nut and tune up then lock the nut...I am almostly instantly out of tune...what am I doing wrong??

Also...someone told me to stretch the strings when I replace them...however I misinterpreted it as doing it every time I tune up, when I did it last it raised the bridge above the "neutral" point...how can I lower it?

sorry for my lack of understanding, I would appreciate any help!

thanks!

are the strings going sharp when you tighten the nut? if so you need to lower the string tree thing (the bar on the headstock).

if the bridge has raised above neutral you need to tighten the spring screws in the back of the guitar

its going flat...

also i thought I wouldnt have to adjust the spring screws in the back of the guitar because I havn't even touched them in the first place...does the TREMOLO somtimes do it for no reason...or mayby because I was stretching the strings which resulted in it raising above the neutral line?

thanks!!!

Exactly this was the problem with my RG570 a while ago. I was going nuts with it and just couldnīt find the problem. Then finally I noticed that the nut moved a bit when I tigthtened the locking pads. I tightened the nut and the problem was solved. Man I was relieved!!
