Edge zero II downtuning

Hi! I got my first Ibanez a few weeks ago and it came setup in E standard but I play in D standard. I've downtuned a few floyd rose guitars from E to D and it wasn't that hard but how do you go about doing it on the Edge Zero II? Just get a heavier set of strings, restring and tune to D and then adjust the spring tension with the wheel on the back?
