edge zero2, high action

I want to lower the string action on my Premium 920QM, I think it has the Edge Zero 2 system.

I lowered the stems already, but it is not enough. What is next, do I need to use the thumb screw on the back?

I guess I would like to get higher tensions on the springs in the back?

Anyone knows?

I want to lower the string action, and I have already lowered the stems, cannot lower it any further, what is the next step?

Maybe check the neck relief and other things listed on the tech page of ibanez rules.

Re: edge zero2, high action

Did you loosen the stud-locks before you lowered the 'stems' (studs)?
I'm pretty sure the EZ II has stud-locks. If you didn't, that's most likely why you can't lower them any further
www.ibanezrules.com is a great place for setup info, or the manual that should have come with the guitar.

Re: edge zero2, high action

I tried to insert the thin key into the studs, but it does not hook at all. Does it really have stud locks?

I tried on my other guitar which has Original Edge, and when inserting the thin key, it hooks immediately

Thnx now it works.

Are you sure it is the 2 mm though, this allen seems thicker than the one used for Original Edge?

Re: edge zero2, high action

It should be thicker. The locks on the original edge use a 1.5mm
