ESP Arming Adjuster and RG2550EGK

I was wondering if anyone know if the ESP Arming Adjuster would fit on the 2005 Ibanez RG2550EGK. If anyone didn't know it has an edge pro trem.

I was trying to find out if it will work before i get the ESP

We had a discussion on this subject a while back:

I seem to remember there was another thread, but I can't find it right now.

Re: ESP Arming Adjuster and RG2550EGK

The ESP Arming Adjuster works fine with the OFR/EDGE/LO-PRO/Edge pro. Got one installed in all my guitars, and I have one on all four types of bridges. All of them work fine. Seeing that I did that review of that ESP Arming Adjuster here and probably the only one that has the arming adjuster installed in guitars with all four of the prominent trems, I'm pretty sure that I can guarantee you that it'll work fine.

(Some routing needed to be done on my guitars but I've installed the arming adjuster for others who didn't want to get thier cavities routed. It just had to be installed a little further out)

Re: ESP Arming Adjuster and RG2550EGK

it's VERY little routing.

In fact basswood(the body wood on the RG2550EGK) is so so soft that I actually routed the space I needed using a knife(no joke here). Just score and cut out the shape you need(either a semi circle or a square) and then just chisel it out. (I had to do it once when my router wasn't working and I didn't have my dremel with me.. had to do it the old school way).

Most places would probably charge like $20 to do. I would actually find someone that's got a dremel with a router base to do it for you, it's less of a hassle and you can probably get away with it for a coffee or something.

Cheers,

Budd

Yea that sounds pretty easy but at 15 i'll probably get my dad to do it, but i think his friend has a dremel cause he's has like a hardware store for a garage

Re: ESP Arming Adjuster and RG2550EGK

In that case it'll be cheap for you. There isn't much to route out anyway.
