i've seen the blue velvet ESP on Lynch's video, it's awesome!
well, if you're going to do that yourself, i'd suggest you to cover your Squier body in electrical tape, entirely. then you want to brush vinil glue on the body and paste the velvet on.
the hard part comes when you're going to wrap the velvet on the body sides, i guess you would cut and fold here & there to make the velvet wrap the body contour homogenically.

this way, you won't ruin your Squier body and you will be able to get back to the original finish in an eye-blink: you'll just have to pull the tape off the body, and the velvet will get out along with the tape, no need to unglue anything.

i used this method to do that on a friend of mine's guitar.

thanks man i totally wouldn't of thought of wrapping the guitar in tape, man i was just gonna glue the velvet on , you saved me some trouble man.
what i think i'm gonna do is either past the velvet on the front and back of the guitar and then the sides or cover the front and sides with on piece and then do the back, i'm not sure, but if i stuff it up i can just pull it off . I'll see what i can do and check in , and if i finish it i will post some pics
