a few pick up questions

Was just wondering exactly how adjusting the pole pieces affects the pickup... specifically on Air Norton and Tone Zone. Does it just increase output, or does it also affect the eq?

Also, I THINK the guitar shop I had install them put them in upside down (adjustable poles on norton are on the bottom [aka towards the bridge] and the tone zone has them on top [aka facing the neck]). Would that affect the sound of the pickups as well?

Thanks in advance.

If the coils are miss-matched (I believe they are) it will make a difference. Theres no right or wrong though. If you like the tone its all good.

Raising the pole pieces will give you more treble. Back the pickups off to compensate for this if they are getting too close to the strings.

The tone zone sounds great, but the norton is sounding hella muddy to me... might try to adjust those pole pieces then. thanks bro!

had the same problem, i lowered the bass side of my norton and raised the treble side. i found it made it brighter, but softer for the lower 3 strings.
