First attempt to kill a nick

Well ... I bought a black rg750 that came with a nick on the front where the arm rests, but the guitar is in such good condition that the nick started to annoying me so i had to do something.
After watch a youtube video "drop fill" i decided to go ahead and try to fix it myself.

Here's the bastard


and this is the result... i'm so happy, what do you guys think?


I'm kidding this is what it looks like now...

Razor blade, sandpaper, polish compound and carnauba wax.

Thanks man! Yeah, it's noticable if you look really close, the micro lacquer cracks are impossible to fix and next time i have to use black nails polish instead of a black marker pen. The good thing is that is super smooth if you touch with your fingers even in the edge. From now on i will only buy black guitars

I think you did great. It'll never be noticed other than a close up photo as you have.
