Exclamation Floyd rose mounting screw stripped wood help!

basically the screw at the back of the guitar won't screw in anymore because the wood got stripped what should I DO ?

The easy fix is a splinter fill [google]. The elaborate fix is to drill it, dowell it, and redrill, but you'll need foot long bits for both sizes, so just do the splinter fill.

I agree, I have fixed a bunch of these. I use toothpick bit's and tightbond. Works great and it's fast.

second toothpick bits and wood glue. The wood glue doesn't stick to the metal, so you get a nice 'mashed up' mix of the old thread, the new toothpick, and wood glue. Nice On my new build, I am considering oversized drilling the trem holes and putting maple toothpicks in there ahead of time
