Frequency buzzing on the G String

So I have been having this problem for the last two months or so on my JEM. I had a fret dress done on it and the guy did a great job. But since that point I have noticed a weird frequency buzz on my G string, between approximately fret 12 to 20. It sounds as if two notes play simultaneously, creating a harsh beating sound. After about a split second, the bottom of the two frequencies drops out and the pure note is left. this is really aggravating. Any fast notes on the g string in that area sound like a muddled mess and its driving me bonkers! I took it back to the guy and he checked it all over for loose parts that could be causing the frequency and couldn't find anything. We both concluded that the magnets of my evo pickups must be pulling on the string when its initially plucked. I have tried using different strings on that area to test out my theory. As the strings go down to even as low as 13 the frequency gets less and less. Obviously I don't want to use 13s on my G string. I love the sound of my EVO pickups and dont want to replace them. Has anyone ever had this problem/does anyone have any idea about how to solve it?

Re: Frequency buzzing on the G String

It sounds like your intonation screw might be loose, make sure everything is tightened again.

No that didn't seem to work. Still has it. Not sure what it could be.
