Get yourself an airbrush pistol and a compressor.
Maybe 600 Dollars, but well worth the money if you do paint jobs on a regular basis.
Spray cans suck!

If I use a can of anything, I set it in some warm water for 10 minutes before I use it. seems to go on more evenly.

Re: Green to Purple!

Yea man that looks pretty bad. Yo CAN get a decent job outta a can, but it takes a lot of work. You are putting the paint on WAY to heavy.
What's the spray and cure environment like, dry, warm, cold?

Re: Green to Purple!

It looks okay now that its set but still I'll probably take it all off and start over

Spray conditions are dry and warm place (the kitchen)

Yup I was putting the paint on too heavy, the can I used was a Hycote Double Acrylic

I did let the can set in hot water for around 7 minutes but it seems i got a bad batch of spray paint as when I sprayed then it would spurt out dots? and leak...

Re: Green to Purple!

Thats just the life of one spraying outta a rattle can. It also looks as it you were getting too close as well. When using a rattle can you just want to dust the piece lightly many times. You'll waste a lot of paint, but it will look pretty good if done cleanly.
