Guitar Build-Up Companies/Ibanez Specific

Hey guys, if I cannot find anyone local to finish my Herc BMC, who would you send it to?

I need the following things done.

1) Open up neck pocket just a bit so neck will fit.
2) Install (press) trem studs and housings.
3) Drill trem claw screws
4) Drill backplates screws
5) Drill and install strap buttons
6) Possibly drill for and install clear pickguard.
7) Assemble and setup guitar.
Anyone have any good experiences with any companies that I could send this to to get done?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Jeff

none of it is really THAT difficult...The neck pocket has the most difficulty to it although it's really not as tough as it sounds as long as you take your time.

Determining what side of the neck pocket to sand or both sides is the important part.

Thanks guys, honestly, I COULD do most of it too but have never done it and would like this one perfect. The neck pocket and trem studs are what worries me. I also need the pickups direct mounted. I just can't put a pickguard on this things and cover up this swirl.

Wow, Perle guitars is in south Chicago, that might work out well. I would deliver it to him. I emailed Nate for a quote.

That's funny...I'm having a hard time deciding on weather or not to put pickguards on both my swirl projects....I cringe every time I think about drilling holes in the faces of those bodies..!

Well, Nate doesn't setups on guitars he did not build so build ups are out with Perle.

There is a guy in Cincy I might call tomorrow. Might look at doing it myself too.
