Im trying to rewire an RG
I have the following:
1 volume
1 tone/ push push (push/pull)
5 way switch

My goal is when push push is down
Guitar acts normally.
1- neck HB
2-neck split/middle
3- middle
4- bridge split/middle
5- bridge HB

When You push "push push" it pops into "up" position and i want this

1- Neck Split
2-Neck Split/ Middle
3 Middle
4-Bridge Split/ Middle
5- Bridge Split

Essentially pushing my tone (push push) into up position makes my pickup selection like a strat. HSH to SSS

Is this possible if so can anyone direct me to a previous post or other resource. Thank you I would appreciate it.

Yes, it's very possible. Which switch are you using (brand), What pickups, and which pots??

Give him a chance, it's been a couple of days, yeesh! ;) :p

It's actually pretty easy.
Standard HSH wiring (you can find that on Ibanez site, or any number of guitar sites), and you simply add ground using your push/push switch on on side of the 5-way just like positions 2 and 4 do.
I don't have time to look right now, but since I'm sure this is a common wiring you may be able to find it right here;

http://www.jemsite.com/forums/f35/another-pickup-wiring-resource-thread-110579.html

Either look there, or wait for RTG to get you one.

Thanks Meechy, I do work weekends.

Christian, this diagram is correct except that you have to use the white wires from your pickups in place of the red on the diagram

Black on the diagram is where your red wires will go

Remember:
red on diagram- use your white wires
black on diagram- use your red wires
The grounds are the same

In 2 and 4 its an auto split. I was wondering if that was still possible.
2=neck inner, middle
4=bridge inner, middle

Sorry btw that was rude of me on that earlier post. I must have been frustrated that day from work. Didnt think i was the type to spew things out on the internet on impulse. Heh thank you so far.
