Help with Edge Pro II trem?!

Hi, i've got a beautiful RGT42FM with jsut newly inserted DiMarzio PAF's
Anyways i've always had more difficulty with this one than my other guits in tuning.

I have a JS100 also just for reference.

Anyway, i heard there was some sort of device built into the Edge Pro II that helps keep pitch if a string is broken? Could this be why I never seem to be able to keep my guitar stable? I am tuned in C# G# C# F# A# D# which is Half-step down and drop C#. Like it takes days for this thing to stay in tune, but still my Low C# gives me problems. (yes i did adjust the bridge angle when I first changed tuning)

Any info would be appreciated. Also could someone post a pic of their blocked trem? I blocked my JS100 but put the wood not under the guitar (near the spring cavity) but directly under the trem and do not have any probs.

Thanks!

not really.
the trem you are referring to is the ZR trem. the Edge Pro II is pretty much like an updated Edge, not a real improvement though.

and i dont think the reason of your tuning probs is the trem itself, i'd say it's the setup, rather.
do you stretch your strings before you strung the guitar?

yup they were plenty stretched. i think i just dont have the patience for what a floating trem demands. I don't even use the whammy, i just buy guits like this cuz the overall quality is unmatched by other guitars I like.

eventually when i can afford a custom i can solve all my issues but for now I blocked the trem on another guit of mine, and finally did it to the one in question last night.

anyway, once everything adjusts I think i'll be better off than b4 =)

oh and i just had to add this little thing. I found a way to "cover" inlays on the fretboard! I found some good stickers in my house, punched some holes in em and then stuck them right over the inlay!

might sound stupid but looks pretty convincing. doesn't interfere with playing at all. so now my inlays just appear on the 12th and 24th.
