Jescar is a good quality, just order the size you want.

well there is nothing wrong with the original but I am looking for better replacements if there are indeed "better" replacement fretwires.. or if it isn't better then I'll order the original.. though I am not sure if there are, that is why I am asking for help..

My father uses stewmac wire exclusively now, replaces frets on few necks each month and customers are very happy with them. You can go fancy and get stainless steel frets, they will last forever and I've heard they brighten the tone a bit, but didn't try so can't confirm. Warmoth has them.

I will read about the stainless steels if it affects the tone.. so I'll be able to decide which to get.. thanks for the input..

Re: help!! need fret wire suggestions on Ibanez RG2570MZ

i did not notice any change in tone with the SS, and they are definitely slicker than NS. It must be stated, though, that I changed the whole neck to a SS neck, but kept the body and electronics the same. Neck was same materials also (maple with rosewood board, both warmoth). I thought the tone was just as good, but playability was better.
