I need Edge PRO saddle spring HELP!

Okay, I am changing strings on an Edge Pro 7 for the first time.

I had a stubborn string that wouldn't come out of the saddle. So I loosened the saddle's bolt with the allen wrench until that saddle's "gizmo" came out.

So I have the black thing, the spring and the bolt all out of the trem.

How do I compress and align / place the spring properly so I can put the black thing back in and then tighten the bolt?

I hope there's a simple answer, but I'm stumped and I don't want to get to where I'm pulling my hair out if there's an easy explanation.

Thanks so much for any help.

The spring goes between the back side of the saddle and the inside of the back of the lock block, then the bolt goes through all.

I saw that when I slowly loosened its neighbor.

But what I'm wondering is how to put the lock block in place, then get the spring in there to put the bolt through.

Either hold the spring in place and put the block on which will hold the spring while you put the bolt thru, or put the bolt thru block and spring just enough to hold alignment and work the lock block onto the saddle. It aint calculus

No, it's not. I just got it.

Thanks, I have clumsy fingers and I was getting frustrated there.
