Unhappy Ink on Guitar Finish

I hope this is the right forum. Well I got Ink on my guitar finish and I'm trying to get rid of the mark. I tried nail polish thinner but it looks like thats going to wear away the clear coat. Any ideas on what to do? Any help is MUCH appreciated.

Re: Ink on Guitar Finish

How dainty are you with a very very small flathead screwdriver? 'cus i imagine if you are very then slightly chipping away the ink is your best best, or use one of those eraser pens...maybe.

good luck.

Ink hates alcohol.
Cotton swab doused in rubbing alcohol should do the trick.
