Laying Down Sally

So how do you guys lay your guitars down when you don't have a guitar stand close by?

I personally like to lay my guitars strings facing down on my Saber and any guitar with an angled neck joint, while facing up with it's a straight neck. What do you guys think?

Cheers,
BlanK

Sure. You're not going to hurt it.

Re: Laying Down Sally

leaning back against the one couch we never use. I have to have a guitar handy in the living room and another in the computer room. I would NEVER lay a guitar down on the floor. I cringe at the thought of someone accidenally stepping on it.

IIRC Ernie ball or D'Addario made a cool rubber thing where you can rest you guitar against your amp. Besides that, same as everybody above.
