Lo Pro Tremolo problem

I have this ringing buzzy sound coming from the trem occasionally while playing. If it happens, and I slap the bar, it'll go away for a bit, but it comes and goes, it's very annoying. It has 2 little white clip things on it, taking them off, or just one, makes no difference. How do I fix this problem? Thanks!

Re: Lo Pro Tremolo problem

Sounds like spring resonance to me. Take back plate off, fill the cavity with foam, or tissue paper or something, and put the cover back on.

i used to hate the springs being undamped in my guitar! moment i crammed bog roll (unused) into the back cavity was the best move ive ever made with my guitar!

Re: Lo Pro Tremolo problem

Look for other things like your keys and even your strap screws for being loose. I had a similiar buzz on the treble side and it was driving me crazy, turned out to be the strap screw but sounded like it was coming from the bridge.
