Question Lo - Trs I Situation

Hi, I have an S470 SOL 1994 version. I'm wondering if I can use anything higher than .009 gauge strings on the trem. I have encountered worn knife edges and "v"s in the posts before, I recently spent about $50 from Rich's site buying new parts. I don't want to have to buy new ones. Is .009 the highest I can go? I switch between .10s and .009s on my other guitars, I'm just not sure if the metal is strong enough for anything else, everything I do is standard tuning. Thanks.

Re: Lo - Trs I Situation

You should be able to use 10s with no issues. The LO-TRS is a much better quality than the LO-TRS II so unless the bridge has been treated horribly you'll be able to set up the guitar with 10s.
