Locking nut spacers

I finally got around to re-doing the setup on my 7620 this weekend, and it's playing FLAWLESSLY everywhere on the neck with the exception of the open b and G strings, thus leading me to believe that I need to shim up the treble side of the nut. Problem is, I don't have another proper brass nut shim. So, I have a twofold question:

1.) where can I get ibanez nut shims?

2.) barring that, what else would make a good nut shim?

thanks,

-D

I've pulled everything from cut up soda cans to strips of paper from under nuts.

so, pretty much free game, huh?

Hmm. I'll experiment. I don't need any more than a half millimeter or so, so I suppose the soda can idea may be worth checking out... Although, I suppose beer would have a lower sugar content than soda, and thus less likely to start growing something if i miss a spot while rinsing it off...

I would think the yeast in the beer would grow something far funkier

I do sell nut shims of course.

I figured you would.

It seems a shame to send you a check for something about the size of a postage stamp, so next time I break something else on my guitar I'll just lump that in with the order. At the rate I'm going, expect to hear from me in three weeks.
