Lowering the action for a S420 zr

Hello. I have this problem. My strings are very (I mean very) high.
First I lowered the zr tremolo to its lowest position but there's allmost null movement up and down with the tremolo bar with this configuration. I have searched all over the Web without a solution, so I placed the zr tremolo to its original position again and I'll show you with this pictures how high are the strings.

As I have seen other s420 guitars and other guitars with the Zero Edge tremolos, the height and the angle of mine is correct, but the strings still very very high.

Can you help me plz?

I think that I posted this topic in the wrong place... should I copy my message in to the correct place? (Tech: Setup, Repairs and Mods)

Re: Lowering the action for a S420 zr

Any Idea?

I was thinking in lower the trem as low as I can and draw a line to see where the trem stops when I bend it uo pr down, then I will take the trem off and "cave" or make a "hole" where it stops, but I dont want tu "hurt" my guitar in this way... Can someone please help me or tell me how can I fix it?

what gauge strings are you using? Ibanez electrics are sent out of the factories with 9 - 42 gauge strings so if you are using a heavier gauge string then you may need to adjust the claw

Did you check the relief/backbow of your neck? Perhaps the height of your nut, as well?

All of these are factors in the action of your guitar, as well as bridge/saddle height. Your action is unreasonably high, imho. I own 2 guitars with zr trems.

You should shim neck.

You need to change angle of neck to body.
