New RG5250MZ Question

I just received my brand new RG3250MZ Prestige. The strings are a bit coroded and the fret wire as well.
I have buffed out fretts in the past on my other guitars with a dremel toll and buffing compound.
I am not sure I want to go thru all that. The guitar is brand new. I like it, but am a little disapointed that I have to clean it up already and I havent even played it yet. The fret wire looks a bit tan/coroded not silver. Do the prestige RG's have different fret wire/color that is supposed to have a different color and not silver? Also what should I do to clean them up? Guitar was VERY EXPENSIVE, for my budget and I am a little dissapointed.
Any advice would be appreciated>

Re: New RG5250MZ Question

It happens on a most new guitars -- they are only partially set up at the factory, the wire can corrode as it's sitting waiting to be bought, etc. Just change the strings, buff the fret wire (you can also use very fine steel wool if you don't want to get the Dremel going) while the strings are off and do a full setup.
