Original edge pullup conundrum

Hi guys got my 550 finally sorted out, however im having an issue on the A and G strings when pulling up they seem to be choking out or rattling/buzzing a lot when I pull up quite far, I have the action where I want it which is pretty high, so it's not because the strings are touching the frets and have no room to breathe...

I have adjusted the truss rod to give more relief shimmed the nut a little more this has helped as I lowered the action just a little..but the A and g are sitll buzzing rattling/choking when pulling up past a certain point..

Can I shim these two saddles to give them the breathing room they likely need?

It's a new bridge so has never been installed...

I tried the neck shimming trick but this made the action really high and didnt give any improvements to the problem, and I had to lower the bridge too much giving me little pullup range...

I dont think it's the frets as it is only on these two strings I would understand more if it were the A/b strings as it could explain a high fret, plus the tech who did the wiring etc levelled the frets for me...

Any help is appreciated...

Fingers crossed someone had a similar issue and knows what I need to do to get things perfect.

Im guessing the saddle shimming may be in order as I know the cant get the bridges 100% for every guitar...

I had to do this on my JS1000 on the the 3rd & 4th strings when I lowered the action, but
that neck has a sharper radius to it than an RG550 neck. I would shim those 2 saddles and see how it feels...
