Output jack wear problem
I own a 7vhw. I have repeatedly had to change the output jack on this guitar. What I have found is that the placement of the output jack on these guitars is just terrible. I often play with the guitar resting on my left thigh which invariably means that the output jack will bump up against my right thigh.
The result is that my right leg will lean against the cable so that over time, this pressure will gradually wear down the output jack. I have had the jack replaced several times.
There must be others that are experiencing the same problem. What are the solutions? Do anyone know of a cable with especially small hooding or something like that? Other tricks?
